What the heck are you going to be doing on May 20th 2006?

So I just got back from a super awesome Carrollton Young Life family ski trip in which I had lots of crazy fun, skied down a mountain while wearing a lion suit and completely stopped down a McDonalds by reading a poem of love to a very lovely lady who returned the favor on top of a table at an indoor sonic. Guess what else I did? Yep, I had plenty of time to think about my Fandango and how cool it's going to be. By-the-way, along with a spanish dance the word, "Fandango" can also be used to describe a celebration Old West style, which is exactly what this is going to be.

I'm sure many of you have some questions as to what exactly is going to take place at this most awesome party/celebration. Well I got a better question that you should be asking, "What's not going to take place at TONYB's wickedly awesome 30th Fandango and Celebration on May 20th 2006. If that doesn't get you excited then I don't know what will. Basically we're going to get things going at about 11:00 a.m. on that Saturday morning. You'll play games like Horse Shoes and Washers. You'll do some fishing and have a treasure hunt, maybe even a little nature walk for you Colorado fans (the snakes should be out in full force by then so it could be really exciting). Around 1 p.m. you'll be able to grab some "Go home and slap your mama" barbecue and sometime around 3 p.m. we'll get sideways with some homemade ice cream and cake and cake. About 6 p.m. is when you can roast a weenie, and anywhere from 7-8 p. m. the Throw it Down, Slap your Booty, Make Sure we have Enough Duct-tape Barn Bash will start. We'll have Karaoke, crazy fun music, dance offs and "Write Home to your Mama" FUN. And I just listed about half of what your going to do while you're there.

Hey, couple more things. This is going to be a for real family friendly party so bring the kids. I promise there will be plenty of the little tikes there. Also you can see we'll have things going on all day and all night long so feel free to come and go when ever you like. To give you an idea about where you'll be at on May 20th, Gilmer is about 2 hours east of Dallas and about 20 mins. north of Longview (Birth place of tonyb). Check out the links to the right.

Man I'm tired of typing so that's it for now. More to come.

What's really big and like the Sun? Yep, my birthday.

Whelp, guess whose turning 30? Yep your favorite person you know named tonyb. Man I've been thinking about this for a almost a year now and I thought to my self, "Hey tonyb, there are a couple things you could do when you turn 30. One, you could get really depressed about how old your getting and think about how with each year that passes your chances of finding a wife dwindles. Two you could contemplate the meaning of reaching one year closer to death. Three you could just ignore it all together and from here on out pretend that every birthday is you 29th birthday. Or, tonyb, you could have the biggest party ever in the history of ever and invite just about everyone you have ever met in your life and spend all day and all night in Gilmer Texas, home of the World Famous Yamboree and one heck of a family.

Guess what? I choose, with the help of my family, to throw the biggest party ever in the history of ever, and call it, "TONYB'S 30th Fandango & Celebration. And you know what else? Your invited, probably. The way you'll no for sure is #1 you'll get a fancy post card telling you to save May 20th, 2006 on your calendar and/or you'll receive a super duper evite through email. So if you think I might not have your email address please send it to me at: tonyb@tonybphotography.com

Come back here often, because I'll be updating the blog with all kinds of details like a schedule of events, where to go, what to bring and all kinds of crazy stuff like that.
