What the heck are you going to be doing on May 20th 2006?
So I just got back from a super awesome Carrollton Young Life family ski trip in which I had lots of crazy fun, skied down a mountain while wearing a lion suit and completely stopped down a McDonalds by reading a poem of love to a very lovely lady who returned the favor on top of a table at an indoor sonic. Guess what else I did? Yep, I had plenty of time to think about my Fandango and how cool it's going to be. By-the-way, along with a spanish dance the word, "Fandango" can also be used to describe a celebration Old West style, which is exactly what this is going to be.
I'm sure many of you have some questions as to what exactly is going to take place at this most awesome party/celebration. Well I got a better question that you should be asking, "What's not going to take place at TONYB's wickedly awesome 30th Fandango and Celebration on May 20th 2006. If that doesn't get you excited then I don't know what will. Basically we're going to get things going at about 11:00 a.m. on that Saturday morning. You'll play games like Horse Shoes and Washers. You'll do some fishing and have a treasure hunt, maybe even a little nature walk for you Colorado fans (the snakes should be out in full force by then so it could be really exciting). Around 1 p.m. you'll be able to grab some "Go home and slap your mama" barbecue and sometime around 3 p.m. we'll get sideways with some homemade ice cream and cake and cake. About 6 p.m. is when you can roast a weenie, and anywhere from 7-8 p. m. the Throw it Down, Slap your Booty, Make Sure we have Enough Duct-tape Barn Bash will start. We'll have Karaoke, crazy fun music, dance offs and "Write Home to your Mama" FUN. And I just listed about half of what your going to do while you're there.
Hey, couple more things. This is going to be a for real family friendly party so bring the kids. I promise there will be plenty of the little tikes there. Also you can see we'll have things going on all day and all night long so feel free to come and go when ever you like. To give you an idea about where you'll be at on May 20th, Gilmer is about 2 hours east of Dallas and about 20 mins. north of Longview (Birth place of tonyb). Check out the links to the right.
Man I'm tired of typing so that's it for now. More to come.
